Shiva received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry and Minor in Biology from West Virigina University with honors. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from Towson University in Accounting. She obtained her Juris Doctorate degree from the Golden Gate University School of Law.
She also holds an LL.M. in Taxation Law from Golden Gate University School of Law. During and after finishing her Juris Doctorate, Shiva served as Assistant controller and General Counsel of a multimillion dollar corporation in San Francisco. She worked at a Law Firm in San Francisco for two years before starting on her own. Shiva is admitted to practice law in California and is also a member of the Bar Association of San Francisco.
Shiva is currently a member of the Young Tax Lawyers Committee of the Taxation Section of the State Bar of California. She is affiliated with several CPA firms in East Bay and San Jose.
